Tuesday Trio #1 Eastern Blooms

Hi There!  I’m attempting to start a new weekly feature on my blog with the “Tuesday Trio”.  I’m going to choose one stamp set per week and make three cards with totally different themes, different colours and different products on each one.  This is an attempt to show you the versatility of each and every one of our stamps sets!  This week I have chosen the Eastern Blooms set from the new Summer Mini Catalogue

001-50-50

This first card has an elegant feel to it.  The satin ribbon and the warm colours make this card conducive to being a Thank You Card, a Sympathy Card, a Get Well card or something along those lines.

Project Recipe:

Papers: Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla

Stamps: Eastern Blooms

Ink: Chocolate CHip, Ruby Red, More Mustard Markers

Accessories: Chocolate Chip satin ribbon, Cutter Kit, Eastern Elegance Rubons (sentiment)

002-50-501

This card has all the trimmings of a simple Christmas card.  The “holly” branches, adn the “Poinsettia” flowers, with a bit of chunky glitter in the centres adding just a touch of BLING!

Project Recipe:

Papers: Wild Wasabi, Whisper White

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Season of Joy (sentiment)

Ink: Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi

Accessories: Scallop Edge punch, Purely Pomegranate Double Stitched Ribbon, Tombow Glue, Chunky Sprinkles Glitter, Paper Snips, dimensionals.

003-50-50

This final card is bright and colourful, cheerful and screams FUN!!  By changing the sentiment, it could easily be a birthday card for girls from young to old.  (I’m thinking it’s a bit flowery for a boy!).  I’ve chosen the “Congrats” sentiment to fit inside our new scallop square punch.  Normally I would have put glitter in the centres of these flowers too, but I’m trying not to use the same products on more than one card.  (That’s a tough one for me!)

Project Recipe:

Papers: Taken with Teal, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Bali Breeze DSP

Stamps: Eastern Blooms, Say it with Scallops

Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Taken with Teal, Rose Red.

Accessories: Paper Snips, Dimensionals, Scallop Square Punch, 1 1/4″ square punch

So there you have it, three different cards with one set.  Next week I’ll choose a totally different set!  I’m happy to take requests, and if I have the set, or know someone who has it, and I can borrow it, then I’ll show you what it can do!  E-mail me or leave a comment if there’s a particular set you’d like to see in the Trio feature!

I’m still waiting for people to e-mail me some of their creations too!  I’d love to see what you are making with the products you buy!

Happy Stamping!
