Yesterday, I did my first workshop since returning from Canada. I had very little time to prepare, so went for fairly simple cards. These are the two cards I demonstrated yesterday. The third project I demo’d was the Circle Circus scrapbook page that I posted a few weeks ago.
This first card was made by sponging a simple “sunset” background on glussy white paper. I stamped the Upsy Daisy stamp over in Staz On to create a Silhouette image. The card is finished off with Button Bouquet and taffeta ribbon.
Project Recipe:
Cardstock: Kraft, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Glossy White
Stamps: Upsy Daisy
Ink: Summer Sun, Cameo Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Riding Hood Red, Staz On
Accessories: Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon, Button Bouquet, Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Sponges
This is the card that the group made as a Make and Take. I introduced the Stamp-A-Majig. I met with a bit of resistance, as it looked tricky to them. Once they tried it a few times, they all got the hang of it easily.
Project Recipe:
Carstock: Mello Moss, Ruby Red, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Trendy Trees
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Mellow Moss, Ruby Red, More Mustard
Accessories: Clear Rhinestone Brads, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Stamp-A-Majig, 1/16″ brad punch
I’m busy packing up to move house in 10 days, I’ll try to post when I can but don’t count on too many extra posts in the next few weeks. The Tuesday Trios will continue however as they are pre-loaded already. Keep coming back for new ideas!
